• We supply bed linens & bath towels. Beach towels NOT supplied.
• We also provide enough hand soap, dish soap, toilet paper, paper towels, & trash bags to get you started upon arrival. However, if you are staying longer than a couple nights, please plan to supplement with your own supplies based on your personal needs.
• Please note that we do require a signed rental agreement.

Pet Fee:
• Please message us for pet approval prior to booking.
• Animals MUST be added to your reservation during the booking process. Once added, the $100 pet fee is included as part of the nightly rate (spread out equally over the course of the stay) and in the total price at checkout.
• Pet fee is non-returnable and is a flat rate for the stay.
• Limit is 2 dogs; no other animals allowed.
• Must pick up all droppings from pet(s).
• Dogs must be entirely housebroken.
• Dogs are not allowed on furnishings or linens.

House Rules:
• NO SMOKING. If anything is smoked inside, you will incur a $200 fee for deodorization treatment.
• Check-in time is 4:00PM and check out by 10:00AM. Early check ins and late check outs are not available due to our cleaning schedules. There is a $200 fee for unapproved late check outs.
• No parking on premises before check in time or after check out time.
• Self check-in with keyless PIN code lock
• Please park in the gravel driveway and not on the grass. A max. of three cars may park at the property.
• In order to avoid potential staining, please do NOT use bleach to clean anything during your stay. We have professional cleaners who will use bleach appropriately in between guests to ensure a high standard of cleanliness.
• Only stainless steel cleaners may be used on stainless steel appliances. Other cleaners will cause stainless steel to rust, so please do not use them on the appliances.
• Visitors must be approved by the host.
• Be respectful of our neighbors. Keep noise volume low and no walking through neighbors yards.
• Do not burn incense, essential oils, or similar items. These scents are difficult to remove before the next guest checks in, and some guests may have sensitivity to smells.
• Guest must sign a rental agreement.

Located near the beach, this cottage is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's attractions include Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and Magic Mountain Fun Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to book a Cape Fear area rental & When to go:

• In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked early. Booking your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to search for and reserve your vacation rental.
• Summer time is high season in the Cape Fear area area. Book your rental property in the Fall or Spring to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowds. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner whether your vacationing group qualifies for a special rate.
• Property management companies typically offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or additional fuel expenses. If your rental property and/or property management company was great, they would love to hear about it.
