This property is an refreshed 1930’s beach bungalow located on an ocean front lot and just steps to the beach. We’ve kept the old school vintage appeal but added modern amenities. This home is located on the ocean side of the street but has a home between it and the ocean. The top deck has impressive ocean vistas to the north and south and the living room has great sunrise vistas. Brand new stainless appliances and a completely supplied kitchen.
The space
Guests will be staying on the top two floors of the property. There is a separate unit on the bottom level that is not a part of this rental. The two tenants living on the bottom level are extremely peaceful and you won’t even know they are there. Top floor has an open bedroom with a king & queen bed and a bathroom with shower. This bedroom also has a deck off of it with ocean vistas. The lower level has 3 bedrooms, 1 king and 2 queens. It also has the kitchen, dining room with a table for 8, a full bath, the living room, another dining/game area for 4, and a covered porch. Each bedroom has its own mini split unit for bespoke temperature control. Money saving strategies:

  • In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier you can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best rental properties are reserved early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.

Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for details.

Choosing and booking a perfect Cape Fear area rental home:

  • Start by selecting your vacation dates and a max budget.
  • Decide how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. Steps to the Beach, Ocean Views, Ocean front lot has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. Otherwise, email or call the property owner before you book your home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which usually includes pull out couches in living rooms.
  • If your group is traveling with pets, you must book a pet-friendly property. Make sure to ask for information on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you visiting for a single attraction or event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby rentals.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are available and included before reserving a rental.

More considerations for your visit:

  • We recommend storing the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a fireplace, intercom or washer/dryer. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of difficulties.
  • Keep your rental home locked while you are away! Don't let crooks ruin your vacation.
  • To make certain that damages are not linked to your family's visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. E-mail the property manager immediately to record your findings. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often, adjacent homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations reduces conflict and allows everyone to enjoy their day.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can usually help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Re-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items at check-out. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property one final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, take pictures of the rental to record its condition.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent feedback to propel future bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your experience find their best rental home. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
