Shoreline Bluff is a mainland Sunset Beach home located on the Intracoastal Waterway along Shoreline Drive West. It features five bedrooms, four and a half bathrooms, waterway pier, and a private pool with charming vistas of the Intracoastal Waterway. It's just mins. away from award winning golf courses and is a five min. drive to the beach. This impressive home has everything you want for your ideal vacation!  Each reservation includes four parking passes for island parking at our Sunset Beach office. 

Not only is this the ideal vacation rental for families, it is also available as an event venue for weddings, get-togethers and other special occasions!  Please contact us for more information about events before reserving. Additional costs and contracts are required to host events at Shoreline Bluff. 

This is a Linen Ready home – bath towels, kitchen towels and bathmats will be included at no charge, and the beds will be made with linen upon arrival.

About the Area

Located on the waterfront, this vacation home is in Sea Trail, a neighborhood in Sunset Beach. While the natural beauty of Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Cherry Grove Pier.
Ingram Planetarium and Museum of Coastal Carolina are also worth visiting.

When to book & When to go:

  • The sooner your group can reserve a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The best vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Holiday gatherings are excellent times to plan and book your vacation home.
  • Summer months are high season in Sunset Beach. To get the largest rental within your budget, we recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with loved ones at the beach.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your family qualifies for a discount.
  • Property management companies frequently offer customers an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed days as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.

  • If your family is traveling with pets, you'll need to search for a pet-friendly property. Get specifics on breed, weight, and type restrictions. Be aware that some hosts require additional pet deposits and fees.
  • Are you looking for unique amenities? Most rental search websites include amenity lists and search filters. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

More tips for your visit:

  • Add the property manager's contact info to your phone. Understand and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, stereo or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents many problems.
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Record any damages to the property during check in, and immediately send them to the owner. We specifically recommend e-mails and text messages, as they usually contain time stamps that can be beneficial if there is a dispute.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You will magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are a terrific resource to find the best local beaches and hangouts.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to book the best tours, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Just before checking out, take a walk-through to confirm you haven't leave anything behind. Re-check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did you have a excellent stay? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide comments. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to correct it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.
