The Maples Course is one of three distinctive golf courses that are found in the sprawling Sea Trail Plantation - a resort community that offers vacation rental accommodations, year-round properties, conference accommodations, and of course, exceptional golfing. Located just inland of the coastal shoreline of Sunset Beach, the Maples Course has an undeniably scenic Coastal Carolina setting that perfectly complements the challenging field of play.
The Maples Course is a par 72, traditional southern courses that’s bordered by twisted like oaks and towering Carolina pines. The accuracy-demanding course also features five holes that follow the adjacent Calabash Creek, with undulating greens and elaborate and lush landscaping. The course is outfitted with A1/A4 blended Bent grass greens, with numerous waste bunkers, and measures 6,797 yards from the blue tees, 6,330 yards from the white tees, 6,035 yards from the gold tees, and 5,110 yards from the red tees. Because of this variation, golfers of all abilities will enjoy a solid challenge, regardless of skill level, all while taking in a big dose of the picturesque Carolina coastline. Beautiful, fun, and easy to reach for both North and South Carolina golfers, the Maples Course is a fine example of what exceptional Cape Fear golfing is all about.
