Are you looking for a calming, private, and calming hideaway? Our oceanfront home is the ideal spot for you and your family! Come and savor your morning coffee on the deck while you listen to the ocean. Appreciate the ocean vistas while grilling on the charcoal grille. Build sandcastles and search for seashells right out the back door. Our home features 3 bedrooms and 2 full bathrooms. The master bedroom, with a king bed, and master bath is on the main level. There are two more bedrooms upstairs, both with one queen bed and one twin bed with twin trundle and Intelligent TV in each room. They share a Jack-and-Jill bathroom. We also have a sleeper couch with a queen bed in the living room. Our home has a full size washer and dryer, a dishwasher, stove, refrigerator with water filtration system, microwave, and a Keurig. The living room has a Intelligent TV and blue ray player, wireless internet, and a wireless printer/scanner/fax machine. Our beaches are dog friendly, and as such, we do allow our guests to bring their dog with them for a fee. We simply ask that the dog not be over 40lbs or be allowed on any of the furnishings and be crated when you are not at the home. To access the ocean, please walk over the dune between the homes. You'll see that that area is not roped off. Serendipity Oceanside has everything you need for a relaxing, and fun hideaway!

How to get the best Cape Fear area rental experience:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many families reserve their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer months are high season in Oak Island. To get the best rental for your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at popular Cape Fear area attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your family.
  • Booking websites frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
  • Many management companies supply Cape Fear area area travel guides which include special offers, either offered independently by local businesses, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Selecting and booking your Cape Fear area rental:

  • Start by having your group agree to date ranges and a max budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the configuration you need. Serendipity Seaside-Private Oceanfront House has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Precise descriptions of bedrooms and bed counts is commonly accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the host before booking your rental. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to determine what configuration is best for your family.
  • Some properties allow pets, but others do not. Allowable types of dog or cat, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added charges may apply. Ask the property manager about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • Are you visiting for a specific event or attraction? Use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for guests with disabilities. Confirm all necessary amenities are included before booking

More tips for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the owner's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental property.
  • Property managers are there to help! Feel free to ask questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental property while you're out! Don't let crooks ruin your holiday.
  • To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your visit, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Contact the host right away to record any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be useful.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking rules can make a stay significantly more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a terrific source for finding the best local scenic spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Locals can often help. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to make sure you've collected all personal items. Remember to check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on good feedback to inspire new bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
