Tommy Thompson’s Grille

Tommy Thompson’s Grille is an on-site restaurant that’s found within the private golfing community, The Clubs at St. James. Featuring a la carte and more casual dining, as well as a daily soup, salad bar, and a full-service bar for post-game drinks, the restaurant is a fine destination to enjoy an easy-going breakfast before a round of 18 holes, or a well-deserved cocktail and midday or evening meal after the game.

The Clubs at St. James is located just inland of the Oak Island beaches, and features world class golf in addition to dining and recreation options for members. The breakfast menu is traditional but tempting, with a nice array of breakfast platters, egg plates, pancakes, French toast, omelets, and sandwiches with a base of toast, English muffin, biscuit or wrap. For lunch and dinner, patrons will find an equally familiar collection of appetizers, soups, salads, and sandwiches, as well as some after-5 entrees, like baby back ribs, pesto roasted salmon, grilled Mahi Mahi with fresh melon and jalapeno salsa, and a homemade crab cake with Cajun remoulade. With enough variety to cater to all inherently southern and American tastes, Tommy Thompson’s Grille is a welcoming sight for club members who want to feast after a grueling day on the links.
