Appreciate the island life in this charming 3 bedroom home. Entirely equipped kitchen, dining table seats 4 with breakfast nook seats 2. Roomy living room with huge flat screen Roku TV. Brand new LVP floor throughout. New sectional couch! Delightfully landscaped fenced in back yard. Master bedroom has king size bed, flat screen Roku TV and en suite bathroom, as well as private exit to giant back patio. Second bedroom has a queen bed and flat screen TV. Third bedroom has twin beds, and full size bed ideal kids room. Minutes from beach access and pretty breathtaking walk over the canal. Well mannered, potty trained family pets welcome. Getting the most from your budget:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in coastal NC. Reserve your Cape Fear area vacation home in the Spring or Fall to get the benefit of beautiful weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • The sooner you can reserve a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental property six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation home.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would at home.
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to confirm you did not forget anything. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on great ratings to propel new bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to fix it.
