Mello Yello Sea Casa features an exceptional 2nd row location with wide open vistas of the ocean blue, and it's economical and clean too!  2 enormous bedrooms with two comfortable queen-size beds in each will sleep up to 8 in your event.  Complemented by two full bathrooms and a living area for everybody to sit, eat, watch intelligent TV or play games.  Mello Yello is the traditional beach bungalow with modern touches and beachy décor which will have you in your salt life beach mode the entire time.  But the best part is stepping outside onto your own private sundeck to take in the fantastic vistas, watch the pelicans fly in formation in the wind or shrimp boats hauling in their fresh catch filled nets.  There is nothing like that smell of salty air and sandy beach and Mello Yello puts you right in the center of it all!  Beach access is relatively simple for you and the younger kids in the crew and there is a nice sized space underneath the home for playing games, grilling and listening to music out of the hot sunlight.  What are you waiting for its time to savor cold drinks on the outside deck, cast your surf pole for dinner, throw horseshoes or fly kites with the kids because there is always something to do at the beach!  Located close to all of Oak Island’s attractions and a short walk to Ocean Crest Pier while close by Middleton Street offers painless access on and off the island.  Departure maid service is included, linen package for an additional fee.  Saturday to Saturday only in Prime/Peak seasons, 3-day min. in all other seasons.  No Smoking or Family Animals of any kind. Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • Summer time is high season in the Cape Fear area area. Reserving a rental home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your vacation. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best rental properties are booked very early. Reserving your rental property up to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host whether your group qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or extra fuel expenses.   • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property when you are out, just like you would at home.
  • Re-check every room of the rental property to make sure that you've packed everything at departure. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take photographs of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
  • Did your group have a fantastic stay? Most rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide feedback. If your rental and/or property management company was fantastic, they would love to hear about it. If anything was wrong and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
