Great family beach home with striking ocean view! “Jackson's Corner" has 3 bedrooms, 2 full baths, outside shower, magnificant deck with unobstructed ocean vistas! Beach access is yards away. This beach hideaway will comfortably sleep 8. Spend time calming on one of the 2 front deck swings appreciating the vistas and sounds of the ocean! Conveniences include dishwasher, washer/dryer, wi-fi internet, charcoal grille, central heat/air, outside shower, 2 ocean facing decks, and much more! Walk to many Oak Island amenities including Food Lion, Dairy Queen, and multiple eateries!

**You are responsible for bringing your own towels and linens for 3 Queen, 1 Double to comfortably sleep 8 people.

**Animals allowed - please note dogs will not be able to go to the 2nd floor unless they are modest enough to be carried due to the spiral staircase. No family pets on the furnishings!!

About the Area

Located near the beach, this vacation home is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Smith Island Museum of History and Franklin Square Gallery are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation. Sticking to your budget:

  • Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in Oak Island. To find the largest rental within your budget, we highly recommend booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities.
  • Property managers sometimes offer discounts for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for program terms and fees.

  • Walk through the rental one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We suggest walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.

If your rental property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear about it.
