This is the lower level, street facing unit of a brand new construction duplex. It is a completely separate unit with its own entrance and a comfortable yet luxury feel. The interior is modern with an open living space and a constructed-in electric fireplace. Less than a mile to the Live Oak Bank Pavilion and just a few blocks to all that downtown has to offer. The entire duplex was just constructed in 2024 and is ready to host you whether you're looking for adventure or relaxation!

This is a brand new home in Wilmington's Historic District--a rare find! The interior is modern with an open living space and a constructed-in electric fireplace. This unit can sleep a max. of 4, but unless there are kids or petite adults it is most cozy with 2 or 3. It is a 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom unit with a pull out couch in the living area (slightly bigger than a twin) along with a convertible accent chair (slightly smaller than a twin). It has its own kitchen with a refrigerator/freezer, sink, dishwasher, stove, oven, microwave, & coffee maker. Essentials like plates, cups, cookware, silverware, & paper towels will be supplied for your use. Note that the bathroom is connected to the bedroom, so if guests sleeping on the pull out couch need to use the bathroom in the nighttime, they will need to access the bathroom by walking through the bedroom. This unit is one story and faces the street with its own private entrance. The other unit is two stories and has a separate entrance on the side of the home, however the walkway runs from the very front of the home down the whole south side and you may hear or see other guests walking to their entrance.

We welcome guests of all backgrounds! However, due to prior disrespectful renters and property damage, we will only be accepting booking requests from:
--Users who are "verified" and who already have positive reviews from other hosts.
--Renters that are above the age of 21.
--Renters who are not bringing family pets.


***There is no dedicated parking. There is complimentary street parking that is available on a first come, first served basis. We know it looks like there's a driveway for parking, but please keep us on the Historical District's good side and refrain from parking there and park in the street only. Please lock your cars and take any valuables with you.

***The bedroom shares the back wall and the ceiling with the other unit in the duplex, which means you may hear guests above you and behind you if it is occupied during your stay. We’ve included sound makers in the bedroom in case this is bothersome. We kindly ask that guests in both units are mindful of peaceful hours as not to disturb others. If guests in the other unit are being far too loud, please let us know and we will address that with them immediately.

***The fireplace color and heat settings can be controlled via remote or on the touch panel of the fireplace itself. Instructions are in the welcome binder. Feel complimentary to take advantage of all it has to offer and create the ambiance that suits you best! Please remember to turn it off when not in use or if it's not being monitored to conserve energy and for safety reasons.

***If you are bringing infants/babies, the units are NOT infant-proofed. (Furnishings is NOT secured to walls, outlet blockers are NOT supplied, cabinets/drawers are NOT locked, etc.) You assume responsibilities for all guests.

***There are many fashionable eateries and attractions within a mile, including the Live Oak Bank Pavilion and all that the Riverwalk and Front Street have to offer. If you have any specific questions or concerns, please feel complimentary to reach out prior to booking.

  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner you can book, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation homes are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property six to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and reserve your vacation rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Wilmington. Reserve your Cape Fear area vacation in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons to enjoy warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer months.
  • Some hosts and property managers offer special rates for veterans and active duty military. Ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your group before you book.
  • Property management companies often offer guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for additional information.

  • Some rental properties allow pets, but some do not. Allowable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and additional costs may apply. Ask your host about allowable pet guidelines before booking.
  • If there's a specific Cape Fear area destination you are crazy about, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Proper accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Locals can typically help. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Re-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed all of your family's items at departure. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Walk through the property a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager is not available, remember to take pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to stimulate new reservations. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your review find their best vacation rental. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the manager could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to remedy it.
