Head to the scenic Riverfront Park in the heart of Wilmington to celebrate St. Patty’s Day with style by attending the annual St. Patrick's Day Festival. A local tradition for roughly 20 years, this annual event features a world of ways to show your Irish spirit thanks to a bustling combination of food, drinks, music, activities, and plenty of great times to go around.

The annual St. Patrick's Day Festival is held at the Riverfront Park, which is situated at the intersection of Water Street and Princess Street, and which is nicely easy to reach for visitors who are staying throughout the Wilmington area. The festival immediately follows the annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, which ends at the local park, and is an open and free event that visitors of all ages can attend. Throughout the afternoon, festival-goers will be treated to traditional dance performances by the Walsh Kelly School of Irish Dance, live music with Striking Copper and The Malones, and a host of food, beverages, and vendors that will be serving up all things Irish. A fun celebration with plenty of community spirit, the St. Patrick’s Day Festival is a crowd-pleasing event that everyone in the crew will enjoy.
