Middleton Park, which is located right behind the home, hosts the Summer Concert Series, Monday Farmers and Craft Market, a kids's playground, splash pad, grassy field, basketball courts, and pickle ball courts. You can even challenge your guests to a game of kickball in the softball field! The new skateboard park just opened across from Middleton Park. The Publix Grocery Store, various dining options, and shopping are all "Steps Away" as well.

STEPS AWAY GETAWAY is ideal for families and friends that savor visiting together while still seeking private space. This Oak Island vacation getaway is like having two homes under one roof. The name describes the location of our East beach getaway--- it is located in the heart of Oak Island within steps of the nearest beach access directly across the street, Middleton Park, shopping, and dining. Savor your morning coffee while taking in the calming sounds and view of the waves. Take in the handsome sunsets from one of 4 decks and launch your kayak just a few blocks away at the Davis Canal.

STEPS AWAY GET AWAY is located directly across from Middleton Park. From May to October it is home to the summer concert series, the Monday craft fair and farmer's market, and the kids't splash pad and the NEW Skateboard Park! There is a playground, skateboard park, softball field, grassy fields, pickle ball courts, tennis courts, and basketball courts to appreciate year round.

This is also an ideal property for those year-round golf trips. Appreciate a day of 18 holes at one of the many courses in the area or venture 45 mins. to North Myrtle Beach or the Grandiose Strand with over 90 golf courses, never playing the same course twice. Return to Steps Away Get Away and relax with a dip in the pool, drinks while grilling out your favorite meal and appreciating the relaxing ocean breeze. Wrap up your day with a competitive game of corn hole before turning in and doing it all over again.
