Oceanfront living area with flat-screen TV, enormous dining area, and sunroom that places you right over the beach! A alluring oceanside swimming pool is open from Easter to October. Two covered porches, a sundeck, and a unique Tiki bar offer a gracious exterior living space. Cable TV in all bedrooms and Amish Country outdoor furnishings for porches, decks, and pool area.

This home is near an inlet and beachfront and the distance to the beach and ocean are subject to change. Due to high tides and forces of nature, tidal pools may exist in natural settings on the island. Oceanfront properties in close proximity to an ocean inlet are subject to rapid and substantial changes in dune structure and distance to the beach strand.

This pool may be heated from September - May for an additional $500 fee per week. Please note that under optimal conditions, the pool can be heated 10 degrees above the outside temperature/max. of 87°F. Please call our office for more details as for optimal use, this service should be scheduled in advance.

The owner of this home privately arranges their own cleaning and inspection services. Please note, Hobbs Realty trusts in the owner's commitment to excellence and does not conduct additional inspections before or after guest stays. This home only offers 4 PM check-ins, as Early Check-In/Late Check-Out and automated House Ready Notifications are unavailable.

How to get the best value:

  • The earlier your group can reserve a home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental properties are reserved early. Reserving your rental up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To get the largest vacation home within your budget, we suggest booking in Fall or Spring months. You'll enjoy lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at the beach and popular attractions. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if special discounts are available for your group before you book.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which generally costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to take kids for a treat, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you didn't forget any personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to compel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback.
