Carolina School of Surf

Visitors who want to join the crowds of surfers and paddle boarders that flock to the Cape Fear area can join in the fun by signing up for a lesson or camp from the Carolina School of Surf. Located in Ocean Isle Beach along the oceanfront, this friendly school that’s suitable for all ages will have newcomers standing on a paddle board or surfboard in no time, and will allow visitors to try something new, and create amazing memories along the way, during a coastal vacation.

There’s a wide array of lessons for both would-be stand-up paddle borders and surfers alike, which includes private lessons, group instruction, and even board rentals after new boarders get the hang of things. Carolina School of Surf also has a summertime Surf Camp for kids ages 6-15 that takes place over four days in the summer months, and which will explain all the ins and outs of safe wave riding. Discounts or lower rates are often granted for larger parties or groups, and rentals are available both in Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach for easy surfing or paddle boarding throughout the Cape Fear area.
