"Indigo Pelican" is a one of a kind on Bald Head Island! Savor the spectacular ocean vistas, breath taking sunsets and watch the ships pass by right from your front porch! This beauty consists of 5 roomy bedrooms and 5.5 baths. Downstairs is the main living area, dining area, kitchen, breakfast area, wet bar, laundry room (with double washers / dryers and another refrigerator!), half bath and two bedrooms. Upstairs are 3 more bedrooms, which include their own private bath.

Get the most from your spending budget:

• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. To get the best value, consider changing your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during June, July, and August.
• Book your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rental homes during Thanksgiving and Christmas get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective vacation rental company or host whether your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
• Management companies and individual rental owners frequently offer renters an option to obtain trip insurance protection. • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local resident! Residents can typically help. Who better to ask where to rent beach equipment, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for shopping?
• Protect the rental owner (and your things!) by locking the property when you are away, just like you would at home.
• Double-check every room of the property to make sure that you've packed all of your family's items on check-out day. Re-check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Please make sure to walk through the rental a final time and look for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the host whenever you can. If the host isn't available, take photos of the rental to record its condition.
