Welcome to “Carolina Winds”, our second home that we selectively rent to guests, referrals and friends.

This second row Condo features two bedrooms, two baths, and both ocean and canal vistas. Conveniences include private pool, cable TV, WiFi, 46” LED flat screen, flat screens TVs in both bedrooms, full-sized, front-load washer and dryer, granite counter tops and an over sized deck (14x20) that is ideal for outdoor dining and watching the fireworks. A queen bed in each room and a queen sleeper/couch will accommodate up to 6 adults and pack-n-play will take care of the infant or toddler. The condo is gorgeously decorated with fun beach colors and is a fantastic place for a family vacation, charming hideaway or girl’s weekend.

This Condo has multiple beach access points directly across the street. No need to load-down the minivan; the storage area includes body boards, beach chairs, an umbrella and buckets for building sand castles!

We are a 5 min. walk to the Boardwalk which features the infamous Britt’s Donuts, seasonal rides, stores and eateries, fireworks on Thursday nights and other major holidays and Sunday nighttime movies at the lake. Just a few blocks from the condo is the Marina with daily departures on fishing charters, sunset cruises, dinner cruises, and boat units.

About the Area

This condo is located in Carolina Beach. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach, while Carolina Beach Boardwalk and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are popular area attractions. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and Tregembo Animal Park are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable properties are booked very early. Booking your rental six - twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental.
  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Carolina Beach. To find the largest vacation home for your budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular attractions and restaurants. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host if your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Booking websites often offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.

  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Neighbors can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to charter a fishing boat, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before departing, take a walk through the rental property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did your group have a terrific time? Most rental websites make it easy for travelers to provide reviews. If your property and/or host was wonderful, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was imperfect and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
