Savor the queen master getaway with its own attached bathroom with a walk-in shower. The upstairs loft has a half bath, queen bed & bunk bed which has a full size on the bottom and a twin on top. The best feature for the upstairs has its own private deck to take in the ocean vistas from the top floor. Enjoy cruising the island in a 4 pass cart that is proved with the rental. Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is near the beach. Smith Island Museum of History and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are cultural highlights, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at The Clubs at St. James and Southport Marina. • In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier your group can book a vacation home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable vacation rentals are booked very early. Booking your rental 6-12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
• June, July, and August are high season in Bald Head Island. To find the best rental home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, greater selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, beaches, and activities.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Booking websites usually offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for specifics.
