Welcome to our comfortable two-story home, located right on the 11th hole of the Bald Head Island club's golf course. Imagine sipping your morning coffee on our back deck or enclosed porch, watching the local wildlife and appreciating the gorgeous vistas of the green. Step inside and you'll be greeted by a wall of windows that invite nature right into your living room. The home is gorgeously designed with wood floors, an open living area punctuated with local artwork, and cozy seating. You'll appreciate the dining area with its expansive windows and a cavernous granite breakfast bar. Our kitchen is a prepare's dream with refreshed granite countertops and plenty of prep space. Get ready to relax in the ground floor's King Primary bedroom, complete with constructed-ins, and a chic ensuite hidden behind a barn door. Ascend to the upper level of the home for two more suites, each with its own bathroom. Choose between the roomy Twin bedroom suite and the more secluded Queen bed suite. Kids will adore the third floor, designed just for them with two twin beds and two trundle beds. And don't worry, we've got your entertainment covered with flat screen TVs in all bedrooms and Wi-Fi throughout the home. Located in Bald Head Island, this vacation home is next to a golf course. • To get the best value, try shifting your family's Cape Fear area vacation week to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, , and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
• In the Cape Fear area area, The earlier your group can book a vacation rental, the easier your search will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved early. Reserving your vacation home 6-12 months before your travel dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and reserve your rental property.
• Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans and active duty military. Check with your host or property manager to see if special offers are available for your family before you book.
• Booking websites usually offer their guests an option to purchase trip insurance protection. • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can typically point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to find the fresh catch of the day, have a great night out, or the best spots for shopping?
• Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let crooks spoil your family vacation.
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Re-check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden items. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Inspect the property a final time and look for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager is not available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
• Did you have a fantastic vacation? Most rental managers make it easy for clients to provide reviews. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words.
