Ocean Isle Beach vacation rental tips and tricks:

How to get the best rental value:

  • Summer months are high season in Ocean Isle Beach. Reserve your Cape Fear area vacation home in Fall or Spring to get the benefit of warm weather while saving money and avoiding crowded roads, restaurants, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the Summer months. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups book their Summer vacation rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some owners offer discounts for active duty military and veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if rate reductions are available for your family.
  • Property managers usually offer their guests an option to add trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel overnight or extra fuel expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
  • Many rental management companies supply Cape Fear area area visitors guide magazines which include money-saving deals, either offered independently by local companies, or through a relationship with the property management company and the business itself. You can also find visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Make a plan and pick the perfect Cape Fear area rental home:

  • Choose your vacation week and maximum budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and what type of bedroom configuration your family requires. FULLY RENOVATED-Sunset Breeze- West End 3\/2 Condo- Linens are Included has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts & types is almost always accessible on booking websites. If you don't see them listed, email or call the property owner before booking the home. Note that most properties list the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to establish what configuration is best for your vacation group.
  • If there's a particular Cape Fear area attraction you love, keep an eye out for properties that are either nearby, or those that cater especially to your desires.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Remember to confirm all necessary amenities are available before booking
  • If your group is vacationing with pets, search for a pet-friendly rental. Get details on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property managers charge pet deposits and fees.

Additional considerations:

  • Put the owner's information in your smartphone.
  • To ensure that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, inspect the property for any problem areas upon your arrival. message the rental manager right away to document any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having the recorded concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, elevator or thermostat. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call prevents a lot of difficulties.
  • Be respectful of your neighbors. Often, nearby homes are filled by local residents. Respecting late-night noise limits and parking rules is the right thing to do.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can frequently point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are away, just like you would at home.
  • On check-out day, complete a walk-through to confirm you haven't forget any personal items. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Did your family have a excellent time? Most rental home management companies make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your rental and/or host was fantastic, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it within reason, or if the vacation rental wasn't described correctly, you'll want to make a note as part of your comments.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
