More details:

This home has 3 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms. It can comfortably sleep 2 families. In the downstairs, there is another bedroom and half bathroom. There is not, however, an internal staircase between the 2 floors.

As you enter the property, the front door opens into an open area with the living room, kitchen, and dining room all in one enormous space. To the right you’ll find the bedrooms. The back of the home has a deck that is ideal for sharing a cold drink after a long day at the beach.

Down the stairs you’ll find another outdoor seating area and then inside to a secondary living room, ping pong table, and the additional bedroom.

The front of the home has an outdoor shower for getting the sand off your toes - or a full blown shower as it has a hot water line.

We are thrilled to share our little piece of heaven with you!

PS. The name of our home is from the country music song by Dierks Bentley - our oldest daughters favorite song and her first ever concert. She is so proud to have this cute little beach bungalow named after one of our favorite family memories!!

Tips and Tricks to get the best Cape Fear area rental home experience:

Getting the most from your rental home budget:

  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the easier your search will be. The most desirable properties are reserved very early. Booking your vacation property up to 12 months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to plan and book your rental.
  • Booking a rental in the Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers often offer renters an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which generally will cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for more information.
  • Often, management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area travel guides which often include special deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide and coupon books at local shops and grocery stores.

Planning and picking your Cape Fear area rental home:

  • First, have your group commit to dates and a maximum budget.
  • Determine how many beds and what type of bedroom configuration your group needs. Comfy home, 3rd row, step from the beach! has 3 bedrooms and 1 bathrooms.
  • Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is generally accessible online. Otherwise, email or call the property owner before reserving your rental. Note that most listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which usually includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to work out what is right for your vacation group.
  • If your family is traveling with pets, you will need a pet-friendly property. Ask for specifics on breed, size, and type requirements. Some property owners charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Visiting for a specific event? Try a map search to find nearby rentals.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Make certain to inquire about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Advice for your stay:

  • Be sure you get the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental home. We recommend storing the manager's information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, television set or coffee maker. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent quite a few concerns.
  • Protect the owner (and your stuff!) by keeping the rental locked up when you are gone, just like you would at home.
  • During check-in, record any issues with the rental property and immediately contact the host. Record all correspondence in case a dispute arises.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your quiet neighborhood. Use the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great beaches and scenic spots you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • On check-out day, take a final walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Walk through the property one final time and look for damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the manager is not available, remember to take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
  • Did your group have a wonderful time? Many rental management companies make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your rental and/or property manager was great, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was wrong and they failed to fix it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
