This completely remodeled splendid three bedroom condo has a comfortable open floor plan with enormous windows and tons of light. The living and dining areas have water vistas from both the balcony and deck. Unwind on the deck and savor the peaceful beauty of the sunset across the sound. The calming waterfowl and tides of the sound are simply indescribable. You may even have a dolphin sighting during high tide. There are docks for fishing and outdoor grilles for all your barbequing requirements. Three swimming pools, one of which is ocean front, and three tennis courts are at your disposal. The ocean front pool also has a deck with rocking chairs for a great ocean view. The beach is a short five min. walk from the condo. Ocean Isle Beach is a gorgeous beach for walking, sunbathing, swimming, shell collecting, and photography. It's a mile walk to the center of the island, our favorite coffee shop, Drift, and a nice selection of local eateries. The master bedroom has a king bed and a newly refreshed en suite bathroom. The second bathroom, also freshly modernized, can be entered from either the hallway or 2nd bedroom, which has two queen beds. The third bedroom has a queen bed and desk. We do not provide linen and towel service, but there are numerous linen service options available at OIB. The condo has intelligent TVs in every bedroom, as well as in the living room. Bring your log in information for Netflix, Prime, and most other fashionable streaming services. The kitchen is entirely equipped for 8 guests who appreciate cooking or just heating up takeout from one of the many island eateries. The sizable dining room table seats 8 comfortably with vistas of the sound, and the living room overlooks the fishing lagoon. In addition we have covered parking for two cars. No family pets allowed, no exceptions. Ocean Isle Beach is about halfway between Myrtle Beach and Wilmington (about a 30-45 min. drive either way), close enough for dinner or shopping. Calabash and its famed seafood are just 20 mins. away. In addition there are about 20 golf courses within a 20 -min. drive of the island. Absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind in the condo, on the balcony, or on the deck. The condo is professionally cleaned with all surfaces sanitized prior to each rental. From June through August, we can only accept Saturday to Saturday dates.

About the Area

Located in Ocean Isle Beach, this condo is on the waterfront. While the natural beauty of Ocean Isle Beach and Holden Beach can be enjoyed by anyone, those looking for an activity can check out Cherry Grove Pier.
Museum of Coastal Carolina and Ingram Planetarium are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

Finding the best rental value:

• To find the best value, try changing your vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent temperatures, less crowded beaches, and reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during June, July, and August. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at your favorite beach.
• Book your vacation rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Property managers sometimes offer special rates for veterans. Make sure to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family.
• Property managers usually offer customers an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
