Welcome to Once Upon a Tide. Appreciate the spectacular sunsets from your own back porch! This 4 bedroom / 3.5 bath is located in Killegray on the dune ridge. The main home consists of 3 bedrooms, which are located downstairs. The first bedroom is a queen master suite. The 2nd bedroom consists of a king bed and the 3rd bedroom has 2 twins. The two bedrooms share a bath located in the hall. Upstairs is all about the view! The main living area, kitchen, dining and half bath are all located on the 2nd story. There is a balcony off of the living area that over looks the Atlantic Ocean. We also have a screen porch downstairs if you just want to get appreciate a peaceful cup of coffee. The crofter outside has a separate master bedroom and bathroom with a queen bed.

Find your perfect rental:

• Book your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• Summer months are the most expensive season in Bald Head Island. To get the most suitable vacation home within budget, we strongly suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, tours, and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with loved ones at your favorite beach.
• Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your group qualifies for a reduced rate.
• Booking websites typically offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.
• Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental home doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local shops and visitor centers. • Inspect the property one final time and look for any damage. We advise inspecting the property with the host whenever possible. If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take video and pictures of the property to record its condition at check-out.
