A peaceful garden guesthouse in the heart of downtown. This property has a lot to offer if you would like to experience Wilmington's Downtown and Beaches but still would like to relax somewhere a bit more calming.
We offer a full kitchen supplied with all the silverware you may need. A Nespresso machine is available to appreciate cafe quality coffee and espresso while sitting on the covered porch or out in the garden.
The gardens and outdoor seating are yours to savor while staying as our guests.

The space
Our 1940's guesthouse is located in the heart of downtown. We have tried to maintain the historic appeal with slight modern renovations. This guesthouse is only accessible by climbing 13 stairs. If pre- arranged we can help assist with suitcases needs. Downtown city noise is to be expected from time to time as well as airplane noise. We have keypads installed for effortless arrivals.

Other things to note
The windows are not meant to be open. Do to there age and layers of paint, opening the windows can be dangerous. If you would like some fresh air, we have plenty of outdoor space to enjoy. Abiding by this will ensure that the home stays cool if you wish, and the bugs stay out.

  • To find the best value, try shifting your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.   • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let thieves spoil your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Re-check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the property a final time and scan for damages to contents or the property itself. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the host is not available, remember to take video of the rental to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good reviews to compel more reservations. They'll be thankful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
