Antiques of Old Wilmington

Downtown Wilmington is known for its collection of chic antique shops, and Antiques of Old Wilmington, which has a prime locale along Front Street just a block away from the Cape Fear River, is a convenient and all-encompassing destination for vintage treasure hunters to begin their pursuit. Established in 1982, and featuring a whopping 6,000 sq. ft. of space, antique fans and looky-loos alike will find a wealth of treasures which pay homage to old southern Wilmington.

Antiques of Old Wilmington is located within a historic downtown brick building next to a collection of shops and restaurants, and every inch of the massive space is lined with furnishings, glass hangings, and pieces of décor which can accommodate virtually any style or interest. The store has one of the largest antique lighting collections in the Southeastern United States, as well as an impressive array of furnishings, which includes more than 20 historic barrister bookcases.

Smaller treasure hunters have obviously not been forgotten, as there are thousands of small items to admire, including cameos and vintage jewelry, bit glass, paper weights, egg plates, oil lamps, glassware, decanters, and much more. From old pipes to decadent candlestick holders, everyone will find something to crave at the massive and fascinating Antiques of Old Wilmington.
