Finding the best rental home value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Sunset Beach. Booking your Cape Fear area vacation rental in Fall or Spring months is a great way to save money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of suitable properties. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season.
  • Reserve your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules generally open 12 months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during Christmas and Thanksgiving get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.
  • Hosts and Property managers sometimes offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Booking websites often offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection.
