The experience was great, the owners were great and painless to get in touch with. The property was even better than described, we felt at home and were so casual. The beach is so close and convenient as well as all of the amazing stores and eateries.

This is our second time staying at Donkeys Inn and it was just as great the second time! Everything was there that we needed for a home away from home. Also so close to beach, we were able to walk.

We had a great time. The owners were striking and very helpful. The home was gorgeous and had everything we needed. The little ones especially appreciated the short wagon ride to the beach. We will be back!

Located on the waterfront, this cottage is in Tranquil Harbour, a neighborhood in Oak Island. Oak Island Golf Club and Founders Club at St. James Plantation are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those looking for area attractions can visit North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.
