About this Property

  • Sleeps 6
  • 3 Bedrooms
  • 3 Bathrooms
  • Private vacation home

This three bedroom, two bathroom beach bungalow is completely modernized! The private deck is the ideal place for grilling out in the summer and the back patio has a fire pit for the cooler winter nights. The home is centrally located within walking distance of Wrightsville Beach Brewery and convenient access to bicycle paths, the beach, and downtown.

The home features an open concept space! As you step through the front door you will enter into the living area with a wood burning fire place and flat screen TV where you can relax and watch local channels or stream your favorite movies and shows from the Roku device. At the opposite end of this living area is a handsomely remodeled kitchen with white quartz countertops, stainless steel Kenmore Pro Appliances, and all of the necessary kitchen and dining essentials. The bar height counter comfortably seats four but should you need more dining space there is a dining table in the adjacent sun room that can accommodate up to six people. Down the back hall from the kitchen there is a mudd/laundry room where you will find beach towels and a soft cooler bag available for your use. The door off the laundry room leads onto the deck area where the propane grille is located. We do our best to make sure there is some propane in the tank to get you started but should you run out Tidal Mart (located at the end of the street) will has refills. The master bedroom is located at the back end of the home and has a walk-in closet, comfortable queen size bed, and ensuite bath with glass shower stall and rain shower head. There is another door outside of the master bedroom that leads to the paver patio complete with fire pit and privacy fence. The other two bedrooms are accessed off the living area both have plenty of closet space with a queen size bed in one and full size bed in the other. There is a full bathroom in between them with a subway tile shower stall and bath tub.

There is parking for four cars in the front driveway. Should you need more parking space or somewhere to put a boat trailer, bigger car, etc. There is an additional back driveway, that is fenced off from the rest of the property, available upon request. We use this back driveway to access a detached office/storage building located in the back yard. We frequent this building numerous times a week but it is separated from the deck and patio spaces described above and behind an 8 foot tall privacy fence with locked gate. You get the entire rest of the property all to yourself and wont see or hear us coming and going unless you want to.

We both live and work locally but travel rather a bit as well. Our primary residence is a mile away from our AirBnB. We are only a phone call away, seven days a week from 8:00AM to 10:00 PM and of course anytime during an emergency.

Tips to get the very best rental experience:

Get the best rental value:

  • The earlier your group can book, the better your selection will be. The best vacation rentals are reserved very early. Reserving your vacation property six to twelve months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Summer months are high season in the Cape Fear area area. To find the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of large crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property management company or host whether your family qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed time as a result of medical-related issues or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional gasoline expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitors guides that include special offers, either offered independently by local companies, or by way of a relationship with the rental management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide and coupon books at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers.

Planning and picking your Cape Fear area rental home:

  • Start by choosing a vacation week and a max budget.
  • Note the number bedrooms and the bed configuration your group requires. A Bohemian Beach Bungalow has 3 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is almost always available on booking websites. If not, email the property owner before you book your rental. Note that most properties list the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes sofa beds and bunks.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Ask your property manager before booking, and study your rental agreement! Additional fees or may be applied to your invoice.
  • Visiting for a single event? If so, use a map search to browse nearby properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Know before you go:

  • Add the owner's contact information to your smartphone. Print and take a copy of check in/check out procedures.
  • Hosts are available to help! Feel free to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Ensure you protect the rental owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • To make sure damages aren't attributed to your stay, inspect for any problem areas during check in. Get in touch with the property manager immediately to report any damages. If there is a dispute about who is responsible, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be helpful.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like unpleasant vacationers bothering your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for best judgement. If they like you, locals might even recommend great local food and scenic spots you would have not otherwise known!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can frequently help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Just before checking out, complete a final walk-through to make sure you have not forget any personal items. Make sure to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden belongings. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Property managers rely on good feedback to propel more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other families will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Be fair with your review. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host could control the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches. See for yourself by scanning the QR code and call Victory Beach Vacations at 910.458.0868 to book your Cape Fear getaway. Start making your memories today! —Grace Silipigni
