The main level (second floor) includes a half bath, kitchen, living area, and sizable outdoor deck for watching boats go by in the canal. The second story has a enormous master bedroom with private deck and full ensuite bathroom. The first guest room has two twin beds. The second has a queen bed. How to find the best Carolina Beach rental home experience:

Finding the best rental home value:

  • Reserve your vacation rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available twelve months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups reserve their Summer vacations during holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Reserving a rental home in Spring or Fall is our best tip for saving money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable homes. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook the holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday on the coast? Thanksgiving and Christmas are great times to gather with friends and family at the beach.
  • Some property managers offer discounts or promotional rates for veterans. Check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Booking websites typically offer renters an option to add vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance might be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask the property owner for program terms and fees.
  • Look for your local Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great articles, travel guide magazines have money saving offers on nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

Use filters to narrow your search:

  • Begin by selecting your a vacation week and a budget.
  • Determine how many bedrooms and the bed configuration you need. Carolina Family Tides: On the water, boat slip, steps from beach, and VIEWS! has 3 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms.
  • Precise information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is often accessible on booking pages. Otherwise, reach out to the property owner before booking the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
  • If your family is bringing pets, you must book a pet-friendly rental. Ask for specifics on breed, weight, and type requirements. Be aware that some property owners charge additional pet fees.
  • If there's a certain Cape Fear area destination you long to visit, search for properties that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Suitable accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with a disability. Confirm all required amenities are included before booking

Additional considerations:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before leaving home. Add a note with the instructions to your smartphone, and take a printed backup.
  • Ask questions. You may need instructions for a garage door opener, television set or thermostat. Contact your host. They are there to help! A brief text message can prevent lots of issues.
  • Keep the property locked while you are away! Don't let crooks ruin your holiday.
  • Note any issues with the rental upon arrival, and immediately e-mail them to the property manager. We specifically recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if damages are assessed.
  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like disagreeable visitors bothering your life at home. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and attractions you would've not otherwise known about!
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Residents can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to get the best breakfast in town, have a great night out, or the best spots for BBQ?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the property to make sure you've collected all belongings. Check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a fantastic stay? Many rental websites make it easy for customers to provide feedback. If your property and/or host was terrific, they will likely appreciate your kind words. If anything was amiss and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your review.
