Walk 3-4 blocks to downtown, and one more to the Riverwalk. Incredible location for a Downtown Wilmington visit. You will struggle to find a reason to drive or Uber anywhere during a stay here.

Downtown Wilmington is special in that it offers a rich history, fun vibe and culture - but is also a coastal town. A 15-20 min. drive gets you to the best beaches NC has to offer, including Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. There is no shortage of fun activities!

When to book a Cape Fear area rental home & When to go:

  • Summer is the most expensive season in the Cape Fear area area. To get the best value, shift your group's vacation to the Spring or Fall shoulder seasons. May, September, and October offer warm weather, fewer crowds, and reduced traffic.   • Inspect the rental a final time and keep an eye out for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever possible. If the host is not available, take video of the rental to record its condition at check-out.
