"Wine Down" is the west side of a impressive Ocean Front Duplex located in the less busy area of Holden Beach! The home offers you private beach access at your doorstep with elegant vistas of the Atlantic Ocean, the ICW and Tidal Marsh! The home is bright and cavernous with many amenities! With 4 bedrooms and 3 full baths the home comfortably accommodates up to 14 guests. A roomy Master Suite upstairs offers a king size bed, streaming TV, and a enormous private balcony just ideal for catching the salty breezes off the dunes. Bedroom #3 is located on the second floor offering a queen size bed with streaming TV. Bedroom #1 is located on the second floor facing the marsh offering superb opportunities for wildlife sightings. This bedroom offers 1 queen bed, 1 full bed and 1 twin bed, and streaming TV. Bedroom #2 is located downstairs, offering 2 full beds and 1 twin bed, and streaming TV. A spacious living room, kitchen and dining area offers plenty of room for calming and entertaining inside, while appreciating the oceanfront vistas of the Atlantic. The kitchen is equipped with a stand alone ice maker for your coolers and drinks, a Keurig/drip coffeemaker combo, new stainless steel appliances and everything else you would need to make homecooked meals. You can also maximize your outdoor vacation time by relaxing in the downstairs outdoor area that includes two hammocks, 8' picnic table and both charcoal and gas grilles which includes complimentary propane! For 2024, a private, heated 8X12 Swim Spa is included. The Swim Spa is the ideal mini pool for family fun. It comfortably fits up to 9 adults and features 32 hydrotherapy jets for max. massage. The hydrotherapy jets are positioned in each corner of the swim spa to target specific muscle groups. It also features a water propulsion system that creates a current that you can swim against which can be adjusted to customize the difficulty level.

This property is located at 811 Ocean Blvd West. Wine Down is on the west (right) side as you face the building from the street. The east (left) side is not a rental property and unavailable to rent.

When to visit Holden Beach & When to reserve a rental home:

  • Summertime is high season in Holden Beach. Booking your vacation rental in Spring or Fall is our favorite way to save money on your rental home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of desirable properties.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner your group can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Reserving your rental home six to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Holidays such as Christmas and Thanksgiving are excellent times to search for and reserve your rental home.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property owner or host whether your family qualifies for a reduced rate.
  • Property managers frequently offer renters an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs between 1% - 5% of the booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed days as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel overnight or additional gas expenses.   • Lock your rental property while you are out! Don't let burglars spoil your family vacation.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to make sure you've collected everything. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden treasure. Remove everything from the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damages to contents or the property itself. We suggest walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition at check-out.
