The Palmetto Place opened in 2021 as a luxury escape for couples and modest families who savor the natural wonder of Bald Head Island. Our cedar shakes are located in Cape Fear Station and a fast golf cart ride to the public beach access, nature trails, crabbing holes, and the stores at Maritime Market. When you want to getaway from the sun and salt air, our comfortable home will welcome you with modern amenities, quality linens, and refreshed decor so you can exhale from reality and completely rejuvenate. The only worry you'll have is which bottle of red to bring.

This vacation home is located in Cape Fear Station, a neighborhood in Bald Head Island. Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James are worth checking out if an activity is on the agenda, while those wishing to experience the area's natural beauty can explore Carolina Beach and Caswell Beach. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes pull-out couches and bunk beds.
• Do your family pets travel with you? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your agreement! Additional pet fees or charges may be applied to your contract.

• Take a copy of the host's phone number and arrival/departure procedures for your rental property.
