A family friendly home with a great outdoor space and private pool. Located in the center of Wilmington, just a short distance from the beaches or historic downtown. Fur babies welcome, Lyla the cat lives here full time, and we ask to please open a included fresh can of food for her daily.
As we are pet friendly, but PLEASE DO NOT allow dogs in the pool. The hair gets in the pump, and without the knowledge of how to clean it, it will ruin the pump and leave you without a pool.

About the Area

Located in Wilmington, this vacation home is in the city center and on a river. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Wrightsville Beach and Carolina Beach. Tregembo Animal Park and Jungle Rapids Family Fun Park are also worth visiting.

How to get the best value:

  • To book the best rental within your budget, we highly recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring shoulder seasons. You'll enjoy lower rental rates, greater selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to reserve an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unavailable or unaffordable during the high season. Christmas, Thanksgiving, and New Years Eve are great times to gather with family and friends at your favorite beach.
  • Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually open 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many families book their Summer rentals during Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years Eve get-togethers. Book before these holidays for best selection.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Neighbors can usually help you find exactly what you're looking for. Who better to ask where to go for the best drinks, have a great night out, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Ensure you protect the owner (and your stuff!) by locking and securing the home while you are out, just like you would back home.
  • Just prior to departing, complete a walk-through to make sure you haven't leave anything behind. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
