Getting the best Holden Beach rental experience:

How to get the best rental value:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many groups book their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday get-togethers. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer time is high season in the Cape Fear area area. To book the most suitable vacation home for your budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, warm weather and the absence of giant crowds at your favorite restaurants and activities. Speaking of the off-season, don't overlook Winter holidays for a Cape Fear area vacation! Who wouldn't love a holiday vacation near the ocean? Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Years are great times to gather with family and friends at the beach.
  • Some property management companies offer discounts for veterans. Ask your property manager if special offers are available for your group before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners often offer customers an option to buy trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally will cost between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a welcome relief if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for additional information.
  • Many rental management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitors guide magazines which include special offers, either offered directly by local companies, or by way of a partnership between the management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area area magazine and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Narrow your rental Search:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and select a spending budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration your group requires. Second-Row Ocean-View Home with Easy Beach Access, WiFi & Central AC has 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our Cape Fear area vacation rental search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is often available online. If not, email the host before you book your home. Remember that most property listings specify the maximum guest capacity, which oftentimes includes sofa beds in living rooms.
  • Some rentals allow pets, and some do not. Acceptable types of family pet, weight and breeds may be restricted, and added costs may apply. Ask your host about your furry family members before booking.
  • If there's an individual Cape Fear area destination you long to visit, browse properties that are either near by, or those that cater especially to your requirements.
  • Proper accessibility amenities can make or break a vacation for persons with disabilities. .

More tips for your visit:

  • Store the host's contact information in your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a garage door opener, intercom or WIFI setup. Contact your owner. They are there to help! A brief phone call prevents lots of problems.
  • Lock your rental home while you're away. Keep your property safe!
  • To make sure damages are not attributed to your visit, note any problem areas upon your arrival. Contact the property manager right away to report any issues. If there is a dispute, having a record of issues and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking regulations can make a stay more pleasurable. You'll increase your chance to make some new local friends, and resident neighbors are usually a great resource to find the best local spots.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local! Local residents can often point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to order the best nachos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fine dining?
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, walk through the rental to reconfirm you've collected all belongings. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Remember to leave a review! Hosts rely on excellent feedback to compel more reservations. They'll be grateful for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationers will be thankful you shared your feedback and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the property manager had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded quickly to remedy it.
