Other Things To Note
Trip insurance: Life happens and the weather can be unpredictable. We strongly recommend trip insurance when traveling. It protects you in the event that you have to cancel outside of our cancellation policy window or experience trip interruption due to injury, illness, evacuation, or other reasons.

Linens: Your cleaning fee includes 100% cotton sheets from Eddie Bauer Home, 100% cotton bath towel sets, and kitchen towels and dish cloths. We do not include beach towels, so please plan to bring your own.

Vacation Rental Agreement: A rental agreement will be sent to you shortly after booking. Review and e-sign.

Supplies:
We will supply a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, a few dishwasher pods, a few laundry pods, and a few trash bags. We also supply full size Public Goods brand hand soap, dish soap, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner for your use. Please plan accordingly on what you need to bring depending on your length of stay and product preferences.

Located by the sea, this cottage is in Long Beach, a neighborhood in Oak Island. The area's natural beauty can be seen at Holden Beach and Ocean Isle Beach. Bald Head Island Information Center and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting.

• Property managers frequently offer their guests an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which costs 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel or additional fuel expenses. • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like obnoxious visitors disrupting your peaceful neighborhood. Practice the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great local food and places you would've not otherwise known!
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night out, or the best spots for fishing?
• At departure, complete a final walk-through to confirm you did not leave anything behind. Remember to check bathrooms, garages, and back yards for hidden treasure. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
• Walk through the property a final time and look for any damage. We suggest inspecting the property with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the property to record its condition.
• Remember to leave feedback! Property managers rely on excellent ratings to stimulate more bookings. They'll be thankful for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other families will be thankful you shared your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to remedy it.
