"CaSEAta" a true oceanfront beauty! With its 5 bedrooms and 4.5 bathrooms, this cavernous home was remodeled in 2022, its first ever season on the rental market. Located on the West End, "CaSEAta" offers solitude even during the busiest weeks of the season for two specific reasons. One, there is no public parking within walking distance of the home. Two, it's on a part of the Island that only has one row of homes behind it (the marsh is visible from the north-facing bedrooms of the home). Even on holiday weeks, including the 4th of July, there isn't even a full row of people/umbrellas in front of the home, which means no setting up early to reserve your space!

Aside from the proximity to the ocean, the star of the show is the Kitchen. The owners are serious about cooking, and the kitchen shows it. The completely-equipped kitchen features brand new, top-of-the-line appliances. The double ovens are brand new, knives are sharpened regularly, the pots are All-Clad, there are serious blenders, a griddle, heck, there's even four different coffee makers (Nespresso, Kuerig, traditional drip, and even a Le Crusset French press) and an OXO full bean grinder. There are 3 fridges: a standard refrigerator/freezer combo, a separate full freezer (ideal for stocking ice), and a separate drink refrigerator. Finest part…whoever is cooking gets to do so with a panorama view of the waves crashing on Holden Beach.

Tip…bring your favorite coffee supplies as the local supermarket doesn't carry Nespresso pods or whole bean coffee. Also, before you buy spices, check the home's inventory…tons of spices are available to you.
Both AC units are brand new, as are the dual water heaters. You aren't going to have any cooling or hot water problems at CaSEAta! North Carolina is HOT in the summer. Nobody wants to be hot white they sleep after a long day in the sun!
The living room has a massive flat screen TV, ideal for movie nights, which can comfortably be seen from the kitchen and dining room tables. On the second floor, there is a secondary living area designed with kids in mind. Puzzles, games, books, a flat screen, and bean bags.

For those needing to stay productive, a designated work area awaits with a separate monitor, providing the ideal environment for tackling any last-min. emails or tasks. The wifi is magnificant and conveniently has the bandwidth to do video calls, etc. Accommodating up to 14 guests, "CaSEAta" features charmingly decorated bedrooms, each with private intelligent TVs, ceiling fans, and King beds (other than the bunk room). The first floor is home to Bedrooms 1 and 2, both with private bathrooms. Bedroom 3, located on the second floor, has balcony access to embrace the expansive vistas. In bedroom 4, you will find that it is complete with a full/full bunk bed, a twin/twin bunk bed, balcony access, and a shared hall bathroom with Bedroom 3. Finally, Bedroom 5 (Master) has Balcony access + private bathroom, and is where the work station is located.

CaSEAta also has three outdoor showers, all with hot water. One on the boardwalk (open air) and a separate enclosed shower with dual heads for private outdoor showering. This home was modernized with units for bigger groups in mind. It understands how groups of friends and families typically do beach vacations and is outfitted/organized accordingly. There's even a suggestion box that the owner takes seriously when determining what new features to add for the next season.
This property is located at 647 Ocean Blvd West.

The home's name, “CaSEAta” is a play on the name of the home in Disney's Encanto. It's a family focused home where magic happens!

  • Booking websites typically offer guests an option to purchase vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any days missed as a result of personal medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for additional information.
  • Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental home doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitor guides contain coupons for nearby accommodations, restaurants and tours.

  • Be a good neighbor! You wouldn't like troublesome visitors bothering your peaceful home life. Employ the golden rule for common sense. Happy residents may even recommend great beaches and places you would've not otherwise known!
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Local residents can typically help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night out, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Lock your rental while you're out and about. Protect the owner's property and your stuff!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, take a walk through the rental property to reconfirm you've collected all of your things. Make sure to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden items. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.

Victory Beach Vacations

Visitors who are on the hunt for the postcard-perfect vacation rental in the heart of the Carolina Beach or Kure Beach area will find an enticing selection and plenty of friendly customer service when they rent through Victory Beach Vacations. Based in Carolina Beach in the coastal Cape Fear region, Victory Beach Vacations has more than 100 vacation rentals in all shapes and sizes to ensure that every vacationing family can find their dream home away from home on the beach.   When you book your Cape Fear getaway with Victory Beach Vacations, the fun doesn’t end when you leave the beach, it continues with an array of privately-owned properties outfitted with all of the amenities needed for a fabulous beach vacation.   Jenna Lanier, General Manager, explains that her family first opened the rental and property management business in 2002. At the forefront of Victory Beach operations is Lanier’s mother, Caroline Meeks. Meeks is both the Broker in Charge and co-owner with husband, Buck Meeks, who manages the Field Services team with Lanier’s husband, Scott.   For nearly 20 years, the Victory Beach team has worked tirelessly to establish a network of top-of-the-line rental properties for Cape Fear visitors to enjoy. “As far as our properties go,” explains Lanier, “they are all updated, well-furnished and appointed. “We have always performed post-cleaning inspections and since the pandemic, have put freshly laundered duvets over all of the comforters between rentals.”   Lanier emphasizes how important the guests experience is “we strive to give our guests a relaxing, stress free, memorable vacation.” This emphasis on customer service has led to Victory Beach Vacations having a 4.8 Google rating with over 300 reviews by happy owners and guests. In addition to Victory Beach’s superior sanitation practices, the company offers properties for every type of visitor. Choose from luxury oceanfront houses and condos to more reasonbly priced 2nd row properties with oceanviews. Many properties include pools and hot tubs as well, perfect for outdoor entertaining, and many are dog friendly.   Lanier also notes that all properties are within walking or driving distance to Pleasure Island’s main attractions – Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. The former, as described by Lanier, is the more commercialized of the two destinations and features a boardwalk, outdoor dining options and a plethora of weekly activities including fireworks, live music, amusement park pop-ups, and movies under the stars. Kure Beach offers a more residential feel with its fishing pier, intimate restaurants and family favorite, North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher.More water fun awaits, too. “There is a harbor and a canal that feed into the intercoastal. We have several properties on the harbor so guests can bring their boat, kayak, [or jet ski] and travel between islands,” says Lanier.   A stay with Victory Beach Vacations is an annual pilgrimage for most. “A large percentage of guests are previous guests. Some even reserve the same property for the next year as they’re checking out,” Lanier says. “It’s almost like it’s their personal vacation home.”   Even before guests arrive at their vacation destination, the Victory Beach Vacations’ website greets them with a live beach cam and exquisite aerial footage of both Carolina and Kure Beaches.
