This oceanfront duplex has handsome spectacular vistas from every side! On the oceanfront side, step outside and experience the beautiful sunrise and sunset vistas from the huge covered porches outside the living room and upstairs master bedroom. The enormous extended sun deck brings you even closer to the waves! The other side has no homes directly across the street, which offers enhanced privacy as well as calming marsh vistas from both of the street side bedrooms.

Bed linens included (Beds in bedrooms only) for nightly and weekly units. No Towels supplied but can be rented.

There is plenty of room for up to 9 people, but if you need more space for extended family or friends, you can accommodate up to 18 people by renting the other side (if available) and opening up the whole home to your group. This provides twice the space (including another full kitchen) and is effortlessly accessible through the connecting downstairs lock-out doors. When it's time to re-stock or have a snack, it's only a 5 min. walk to the island fishing pier, grocery store and striking oceanfront ice cream/snack shop. On the way back you can appreciate the wide assortment of unique shells that are often generous along our beach.

When to visit & When to reserve a Cape Fear area rental home:

  • Summer is high season in Holden Beach. To find the best value, try shifting your trip dates to the Spring or Fall seasons. May, September, and even October offer excellent weather, fewer crowds, and greatly reduced traffic. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to book an oceanfront rental that would otherwise be unaffordable during the high season.
  • The earlier you can reserve a vacation rental, the better your selection will be. The most desirable rental homes are reserved very early. Booking your rental up to 12 months before your vacation is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your rental property.
  • Active Duty and veterans of the US Armed forces may qualify for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective host if your vacationing group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Property managers usually offer customers an option to purchase trip insurance. Trip insurance, which commonly will cost you anywhere between 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed vacation time as a result of personal medical-related issues or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask your host for details.

  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Locals can frequently help. Who better to ask where to get the best seafood, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for crabbing?
  • Lock your vacation home while you are away. Keep your property safe!
  • Don't leave anything behind! Before you drive away, take a walk through the rental to confirm you've collected all of your things. Remember to check bathrooms, dressers, and closets for hidden belongings. Clean out the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
  • Go through the rental a final time and look for any damage. We recommend walking through with the property manager whenever you can. If the property manager is not available, remember to take video and pictures of the property to record its condition.
  • After your trip, leave a review! Property managers rely on great feedback to drive new reservations. They'll be much obliged for your review. Alternatively, if something went awry, other vacationers will appreciate that you share your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Please be fair with your feedback If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the host had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded reasonably to solve it.
