The open interior offers a well-equipped kitchen with a full suite of appliances, a Keurig machine, and an ice maker in the refrigerator. Appreciate meals together at a six-seat dining area. Gather in the living room and watch shows on the intelligent TV with a DVD player. Spread out between four well-appointed bedrooms and stay comfortable with central heating and air conditioning. Pack lightly, your vacation rental has a washer/dryer.

• Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer guests an option to add vacation insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses.
