Seas the Day's bright and airy open floor plan is made for gathering family and friends. Anchored around a decorative fireplace, the generous living area welcomes you for conversation, game-playing or movie-watching. The close by dining space, bathed in natural light, is ideal for meals or snacks and is adjacent to the completely refreshed kitchen-now equipped with top-of-the-line Kitchen Aid appliances, bespoke cabinetry, shining countertops, a farmhouse sink and a cavernous island offering not only prep space but also seating. If al fresco dining is your preference, the newly redesigned back deck provides a new dining set and close by gas grille-both ensconced in privacy-ensuring foliage .

Down the hallway, past the kitchen, are two bedrooms, the laundry room and a full bath. The first bedroom is the Primary King, featuring an ensuite bath and walk-in closet. Next to the King is a bunk room, containing two bunk beds. Both the bunk room and the King have private access to porches, making them one step closer to heaven.

Upstairs, are two more bedrooms, a loft and an awe-inspiring ocean-view deck with comfortable seating. The first bedroom up here is furnished with two Double beds and uses the full bath conveniently located across the hall. The Queen Suite features its own full bath and a enormous closet. Finding the best rental value:

  • June, July, and August are the most expensive months in Bald Head Island. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring is one of our best tips for saving money on your rental home. Rates are lower, and you'll find a better selection of acceptable properties.
  • Book your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer rental homes during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Some owners offer rate reductions for veterans. Make sure to check with your host or property manager to see if discounts are available for your group.
  • Property managers typically offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the base reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as ensuing additional hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel stay or extra gas expenses.   • Walk through the property one final time and keep an eye out for damage. We recommend walking through with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the manager isn't available, ensure that you take photos and video of the rental to record its condition.
