This lake does not allow motorized boats, pedal boat is supplied with the home. Excellent fishing location! Oak Island beaches are 17 mins. away, 12 mins. to downtown Southport, Carolina Beach, Kure Beach and Fort Fisher Aquarium is a short ferry ride from Southport, downtown Wilmington is a 22 min. drive. Appreciate exploring all the 50 Lakes and nature walks that Boiling Spring Lakes has to offer. 18 hole golf course on the lakes and many other very nice golf courses within 20 mins. as well as disc golf right on the lakes as well.

When to visit Southport & When to book:

  • Summer months are the most expensive season in Southport. Reserving a rental home in Fall or Spring months is our best tip for saving money on your vacation home. Rental rates are lower, and you'll find a larger selection of desirable homes. Many vacationers use this strategy to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
