The Tern Inn is the ideal way to spend your vacation with family or friends.

This handsome, pet-friendly, 2-story home was created with your family and friends in mind. We have a bespoke-made, ten foot dining table that conveniently seats 14, two separate sitting rooms with cable T.V., DVD players and private baths attached to each of the four bedrooms. We have over 35 windows that offer elegant vistas of the ocean or intracoastal waterway so you can relax and appreciate the view from anywhere in the home.

We are also one of the few homes on the island with an elevator for painless accessibility from all floors and a full-size handicap bathroom with completely equipped shower.

You will fall instantly in appreciate with rocking in the chairs on the back deck while taking in the beautiful vistas of the ocean that have made Holden Beach one of the most fashionable family beaches around.

We have supplied our home to help you forget about the busyness of life and fall in adore with kicking off your shoes and getting back in touch with fun and relaxation. We offer a library of books for your vacation reading downtime and body boards & sand toys for the kids (okay, the adults too). You can even come straight off the beach to the private outdoor shower and picnic area on the carport level.

  • Protect the property owner (and your stuff!) by locking the property while you are away, just like you would at home.
  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before you drive away, take a walk through the property to confirm you've collected everything. Make sure to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Go through the rental one final time and scan for any damage. We recommend inspecting the property with the host whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the host is not available, remember to take photographs of the property to record its condition at check-out.
  • After your trip, leave feedback! Hosts rely on great feedback to drive more bookings. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something wasn't as described, other families will will be grateful for your experience and help them have the best future vacation. Remember to be objective.
