Tricks and tips to get the perfect vacation rental experience:

Get the most from your rental budget:

  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The best vacation homes are reserved early. Booking your vacation property up to twelve months before your travel dates is recommended. Winter holidays are excellent times to search for and book your vacation home.
  • Summer is the most expensive season in Ocean Isle Beach. To get the best rental home for your budget, we recommend reserving in Fall or Spring months. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of giant crowds at Cape Fear area restaurants, beaches, and activities. Many vacationers use this strategy to reserve larger homes, or to book a beach front rental that would otherwise be unavailable during the Summer.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager or host if your family qualifies for a price reduction or discount.
  • Property managers typically offer renters an option to add trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which normally costs 1% - 5% of the stay price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for missed days as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather, as well as hurricane evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or additional fuel expenses. Trip insurance can be a a welcome relief if the unforeseen happens. Ask the property owner for details.
  • Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area area magazine when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental doesn't have a copy, you can find them at local grocery stores, shopping centers, and visitor centers. In addition to great local stories, travel guides contain coupons for local shops and restaurants.

Choosing the perfect vacation rental in Ocean Isle Beach:

  • Choose a designated group leader, select your vacation dates, and choose a budget.
  • Note the number beds and the configuration you need. 7 Bed \/ 6 Bath 3 Minutes To Beach Access - TWO Master Suites & Community Pool has 7 bedrooms and 6 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our rental home search.
  • Specific information regarding bedrooms and bed counts & types is generally accessible online. Otherwise, email or call the host before you reserve the vacation home. Note that most listings specify maximum guest capacity, which usually includes pull-out couches.
  • If your group is bringing pets, you must reserve a rental that allows animals. Get information on breed, size, and type requirements. Usually, property managers charge pet deposits and fees.
  • Does your family require unique amenities? Most rental websites include search filters with amenity lists. Amenity filters help you quickly remove less-optimal properties.
  • Appropriate accessibility amenities can make or ruin a vacation for the less-mobile. Make certain to ask about specialized equipment and wheel chair accessibility.

Have a wonderful stay:

  • Review arrival and departure procedures before traveling. Take a printed copy, and add a note with the instructions to your smartphone.
  • Ask questions. You may want instructions for a fireplace, elevator or WIFI setup. Contact your property manager. They are there to help! A brief call can prevent lots of issues.
  • Protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
  • Record any damages to the rental during check in, and immediately contact the host. We especially recommend texts and e-mails, as they usually contain time stamps that are helpful if a dispute arises.
  • Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking restrictions can make a stay more pleasurable. Be a good neighbor. You'll magnify your chance to make local friends, and resident neighbors are often a terrific source for finding the best local beaches and restaurants.
  • Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can often help you find the best spots in town. Who better to ask where to grab the best tacos, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for bird watching?
  • Double-check the vacation property to confirm that you've packed all of your belongings at check-out. Re-check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden items. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
  • Leave feedback! Property managers rely on great reviews to propel more reservations. They'll be much obliged for your feedback. Alternatively, if something went wrong, other vacationing families will appreciate that you share your review and help them have the best future vacation. Please be objective. If something fell short of expectations, consider whether the owner had any control over the issue, and if so, whether they responded expeditiously to solve it.
