A world of unique stories and incredible drama is in store at Port City Playwrights' Project Ten-Minute Miscellany – a two-night show which features a collection of seven short plays by seven different local playwrights in one amazing experience. Held at the Thalian Hall's Stein Studio Theatre on February 18th and 19th, this unique theater experience will feature a wealth of talented local voices, and is an exceptional opportunity to dive into Wilmington’s acclaimed theater scene.

This evening of theatre features a wide range of dramatic styles that stem from each of the playwright’s distinctive voices, and which run the gamut of human emotion and experience. In ten minutes or less, each script-in-hand play will transport audiences to a vastly different world—from the inner workings of a paranoid mind to a fictional dysfunctional White House, from a Nazi concentration camp to a safe haven for black musicians in the Jim Crow era, and more. The talented cast of twenty includes many familiar faces as well as some newcomers to the Wilmington theatre scene, and in keeping with the spirit of diversity, three different directors are helming the production. Engaging and entertaining, this distinctive night of theater is not to be missed.
