Celebrating its 27th year in 2020, the annual Bark in the Park is a playful competition that pits high flying canines of all varieties in a number of competitions that will delight participants and their human spectators alike. Featuring a number of activities, and absolutely free to the public, Bark in the Park is a great outing for family members of all varieties, and especially the furry ones who love to make new friends and show off their stuff at one of the coolest parks in Wrightsville Beach.

The action takes place at the Wrightsville Beach Park in the heart of town, and the main event of Bark in the Park is the annual Skyhoundz Hyperflite Canine Disc Championship, where canines will leap to catch discs at dazzling heights. Spectators are welcome to watch the incredible competitive action, and can also join in the fun by voting for their favorites in a number of prize categories, including Best Dressed Dog, Best Dressed Team, and Dog Displaying the Most Personality. Dogs are also welcome to participate as well to show their stuff, and the event is a great way for folks of all species to come together and have a little fun while enjoying the laid-back atmosphere of Wrightsville Beach.
