Summer Down is freshly refreshed for 2022 and ready for relaxation! New owners who have newly modernized and professionally decorated this Bald Head Island gem!

It features new floor, modern lighting and comfortable furnishings. We have three 65 inch intelligent TVs, plus classy bathrooms, simple but lux coastal decor and new outdoor furnishings, including a hanging chair looking out at the lagoon.
Come savor this remodeled Villa in walking distance from the beach and Bald Head Island Club. We are excited to share our little piece of heaven with your family and friends! Our home consists of three bedrooms and two and a half baths. The master has a king, the guest has a queen, and the third bedroom is just ideal with two sets of bunk beds. We have a great outdoor living space which is ideal for entertaining. Our home is entirely outfitted with a pack n play, crock pot, 4 beach chairs, (2) four passenger golf carts for cruising the island, an electric grille, and both a Keurig coffee maker and regular coffee maker.

About the Area

Located in Bald Head Island, this villa is near the beach. Bald Head Island Lighthouse and Old Brunswick County Jail Museum are local landmarks, and some of the area's activities can be experienced at Kent Mitchell Nature Trail and The Clubs at St. James. North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher and North Carolina Maritime Museum at Southport are also worth visiting. Be sure to check out the area's animals with activities such as game walks and birdwatching.

When to visit & When to book:

• Reserve your vacation home as early as possible. Rental schedules often open twelve months in advance (or in September just after the Summer season ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Book before these holidays for best selection.
• To find the largest rental within budget, we strongly suggest reserving in Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, gorgeous weather and the absence of large crowds at popular Cape Fear area attractions and restaurants.
• Property management companies sometimes offer rate reductions for veterans. Ask your host or property manager if special offers are available for your group.
• Property managers often offer customers an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for missed time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gasoline expenses. Trip insurance is definitely a life-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
