Welcome to Sailfish in Carolina Beach! You will have access to the first floor of this bungalow. It features one bed and one bath, a front porch, and steps away from the sand! We are three homes back from the ocean, and you get a sliver of a view from the front porch! Looking for a calming time, ambiance? This is it!

This beautiful first floor unit is light and roomy! The comfortable sectional in the living room is the ideal place to relax after a day at the beach. The kitchen, with a subway tile back splash and retro modern refrigerator, is supplied with the essentials you'd need to appreciate a home cooked meal during your stay. It is open to the dining area with plenty of seating. The cavernous bedrooms features a king size bed with cozy linens. The bathroom has been refreshed with tile floors and subway tile walls. One of the best parts of this unit is the front porch where you can savor your morning coffee while taking in the sea breeze.

We are located a block from the beach in one direction and a block from the intracoastal in the other, so you are never very far from the water!

Guests will have access to the entire downstairs unit in the bungalow. There is a locked owner's closet for our storage, but other than that everything inside is at your disposal. There may be guests staying in the upstairs unit during your stay, but it has a completely separate entrance.

There is a parking spot for 1 car in the driveway in front of the home.

Carolina Beach is home to this condo. Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Wrightsville Beach. Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School and North Carolina Aquarium at Fort Fisher are also worth visiting.

When to book & When to go:

• Book your vacation home as soon as possible. Rental schedules generally open a year in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rental homes during Christmas and Thanksgiving gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in coastal NC. To find the largest rental home within budget, we suggest booking in the Fall or Spring. You'll enjoy lower rates, greater selection, beautiful weather and the absence of giant crowds at local restaurants, tours, and activities. Many vacationers use this method to find larger homes within budget, or to reserve an oceanfront vacation rental that would otherwise be unavailable during June, July, and August.
• Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans. Remember to ask your host or property manager if special discounts are available for your group.
• Property managers often offer guests an option to obtain trip insurance. Trip insurance, which normally costs between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for any missed trip time as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for details.
• Find a copy of your local Cape Fear area visitors guide magazine upon arrival. If your rental doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great local information, visitor guides contain offers and deals for nearby attractions, tours, restaurants, and shops.

• Specific descriptions of bedrooms and bed sizes & counts is usually available on booking pages. If not, email or call the property manager before booking the property. Note that most property listings specify the max. guest capacity, which typically includes sofa beds and bunks. You will need to determine which bed configuration is right for your group.
• Remember to include your furry companions! Many vacation homes allow animals, but guidelines and restrictions apply. Type of pet, size and breeds may be limited. Make sure to ask before booking, and study your rental agreement! Pet fees or charges could be applied to your agreement.

During your stay:

• Get the host's contact number and entry/exit procedures for your rental home. Store the manager's information in your smartphone and wallet.

• Ensure you protect the owner (and your things!) by keeping the rental locked up while you are gone, just like you would back home.
• Upon arrival, note any issues with the rental property and immediately alert the property manager. Keep records of all coorespondence.
• Respect your neighbors. Often times, adjacent homes are occupied by local residents. Respecting late-night quiet hours and parking policies can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
• Speaking of neighbors... Ask a local! Residents can usually point you in the right direction. Who better to ask where to launch your kayaks, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
• Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to reconfirm you've collected all personal belongings. Make sure to check closets, dressers, garages, and bathrooms for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take any leftovers home.
• Document the condition of the property at check-out. We recommend taking a video during your final walk-through.
• Did your group have a excellent time? Many rental management companies make it easy for clients to provide comments. If your property and/or host was great, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to correct it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
