Summary:
The name of this beautiful condo says it ALL! Catch the elegant sunrise over the Atlantic from your 3rd floor porch! Oceanfront Oasis has it all- a comfortable space to vacation that is located centrally to all things that make "Pleasure Island" striking. In seconds your toes will be in the sand or discover the island- fishing charters, historic Ft. Fisher, NC Aquarium delicious and eclectic eateries coffee stores etc. Downtown Wilmington is less than 45 mins away! Don't forget to check out the new murals!

The Space:
The pool is located just besidethe condo. The HOA opens the pool mid April and closes typically the second week in September, depending on weather
We also supply the following for each property:
A starter kit of one roll of toilet paper per bathroom, one roll of paper towels, a trash bag, and dish soap. We also supply laundered bed linens, comforters, and 1 bathing towel and wash cloth per person. We do not supply any beach gear or beach towel. We have great rental companies on the island we would be more than happy to share the info with you. We also do not supply laundry detergent, body soap or shampoo/conditioner as we find everybody has their own preferences for these =) Please review our home rules prior to your stay

This unit is on the 3rd floor and there is NO elevator

The neighborhood is close to everything. Mix of visitors and year round residents.

-Walk, bicycle, public parking at beaches and in town

Other Things to Note:
There is a Beach re-nourishment done in Carolina and Kure beach every 3 years. This helps to keep our beaches safe from erosion. Please note that we have no control over this project and that it is normally concluded by May, but there is a possibility of delays.

Carolina Beach Boardwalk is a popular attraction and the area's natural beauty can be seen at Carolina Beach and Kure Beach. Carolina Beach Arcade and Odysea Surf and Kiteboard School are also worth visiting.

Tips for getting the best Cape Fear area vacation property experience:

Finding your perfect vacation home:

  • To get the best value, shift your vacation to the Spring or Fall months. May, September, and October offer warm temperatures, , and reduced traffic.
  • In the Cape Fear area area, The sooner you can book a rental home, the better your selection will be. The most desirable vacation homes are booked very early. Booking your vacation home up to twelve months before your vacation dates is recommended. Christmas, Thanksgiving and New Years Eve are excellent times to plan and book your rental property.
  • Property managers sometimes offer promotional rates for veterans. It's always a good idea to check with your property manager to see if special discounts are available for your family before you book.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners usually offer their guests an option to obtain trip insurance protection. Trip insurance, which will generally cost anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of costs for days missed as a result of personal medical-related emergencies or weather, as well as ensuing additional evacuation costs or charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance can be a a bank account-saver if the unforeseen occurs. Ask your property manager for more information.
  • Look for your local Cape Fear area visitors guide when you arrive at the rental property. If your rental property doesn't have one, you can find them at local grocery stores and visitor centers. In addition to great information, visitors guides have deals for nearby accommodations and attractions.

  • First and foremost, have your group select the best dates and a max budget.

  • Precise details about bedrooms and bed types is commonly available on booking pages. If not, contact the property management company before reserving the property. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which frequently includes pull-out couches. You'll need to work out what is optimal for your vacation family.

  • Don't leave anything behind! Just before departing, walk through the property to make sure you've collected all personal belongings. Remember to check dressers, closets, and bathrooms for hidden treasure. Clean out the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Please make sure to walk through the property one final time and scan for any damage. We advise walking through with the property manager whenever you can (often this isn't possible). If the property manager isn't available, take photographs of the rental to record its condition.
  • Did your family have a wonderful stay? Many vacation rental websites make it easy for vacationers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was fantastic, they always love to hear your praise. If anything was defective and they failed to address it in a reasonable manner, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make it a point as part of your review.
