Step onto the welcoming wraparound front porch and into this traditional floor-plan home. You are immediately delighted by the gleaming wood floors and elegantly-appointed open floor-plan layout. The living room area features comfortable seating with a decorative fireplace and myriads of windows. The adjacent dining area is anchored by a table that comfortably provides room for eight but can accommodate ten. Check out the shell chandelier-it is impressive!

Beyond the dining area is the breakfast bar with seating for four. The adjacent gourmet kitchen features granite counters, stainless appliances and plenty of prep space that will accommodate multiple chefs. Just steps away is the screen porch which furnishes another gathering area and an additional dining option. Finally, beyond that is a serene patio with yet another table for alfresco feasts.

The King Owner's suite, located on the main level, is ideal for folks who want privacy but wish to minimize steps. It features a King bed and a spa-like bath with shower, soaking tub and his and hers sinks. The main floor also offers a Queen suite with a full bath.

Upstairs, there are three additional bedrooms. The second King suite features a private full bath. There is also a Queen bedroom and a bedroom with two Twin beds. These share another full bath outfitted with a Jacuzzi tub. In addition, there is another sitting space equipped with a flat screen TV. When to book a Cape Fear area rental & When to go:

• Reserve your rental as soon as possible. Rental schedules usually become available a year in advance (or in September just after Summertime ends). Many families reserve their Summer vacations during Thanksgiving and Christmas gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
• June, July, and August are the most expensive months in the Cape Fear area area. To book the best rental within your budget, we recommend booking in Spring or Fall. You'll benefit from lower rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular attractions.
• Some hosts and property managers offer discounts for veterans. Check with your host or property manager to see if rate reductions are available for your group.
• Property management companies frequently offer guests an option to buy trip insurance. Trip insurance, which will generally cost between 1% - 5% of the base booking price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for any missed trip time as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as ensuing additional evacuation charges, such as an unexpected hotel stay or additional gas expenses.
