How to book the best Cape Fear area vacation property experience:

When to book a Cape Fear area rental home & When to go:

  • Book your rental as early as possible. Rental schedules often become available 12 months in advance (or in September just after Summer ends). Many groups reserve their Summer rentals during Winter holiday gatherings. Reserve before these holidays for best selection.
  • Summer is high season in the Cape Fear area area. To get the largest rental home for your budget, we recommend reserving in the Fall or Spring. You'll benefit from lower rental rates, better selection, beautiful weather and the absence of large crowds at the beach and popular Cape Fear area attractions.
  • Veterans and Active Duty Military members may be qualified for special discounts. Be sure to ask your prospective property manager if your group qualifies for a special promotion or discount.
  • Management companies and individual rental owners typically offer their guests an option to buy vacation insurance. Trip insurance, which usually costs anywhere between 1% - 5% of the reservation price, offers visitors reimbursement of their vacation costs for days missed as a result of medical-related catastrophes or weather disasters, as well as evacuation costs or charges, such as an unanticipated hotel or extra gas expenses. Trip insurance might be a a life-saver if the unforeseen happens. Ask your property manager for specifics.
  • Many management companies and vacation rental houses supply Cape Fear area area visitors guides that include money-saving deals, either offered directly by local companies, or through a partnership between the property management company and the business itself. You can also find Cape Fear area visitors guide and coupon books at local gas stations and shopping centers.

Filter your rental search:

  • Select a group lead, choose your vacation week, and select a budget.
  • Decide how many bedrooms and the bed configuration your group needs. Adorable Beach Bungalow- All high end finishes- WIFI- BRAND NEW- Linens provided has 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. If you need a larger or smaller rental, use our search.
  • Precise information about bedrooms and bed counts is generally available online. If not, contact the property owner before you book your home. Remember that most listings specify the max. guest capacity, which often includes pull-out couches and bunk beds. You will need to work out what configuration is best for your family.
  • Are you traveling with furry, four-legged family members? Although a number of vacation homes allow pets or animals, guidelines and costs vary per property. Allowable pet type, breed, and size are often limited. Remember to ask your host before booking, and study your agreement! Additional fees or may be applied to your agreement.
  • If there's a specific Cape Fear area attraction you simply love, look for rentals that are either near by, or those that cater to your needs.
  • Appropriate accessibility can make or ruin a vacation for persons with disabilities. Remember to confirm all required amenities are available before reserving a rental

Know before you go:

  • Add the host's contact information to your smartphone. Take a copy of arrival/departure procedures.
  • Property managers are great sources of help! Don't be shy to ask any questions during your stay.
  • Lock your rental property while you are gone! Don't let crooks spoil your trip.
  • To make certain that damages aren't attributed to your family's stay, make note of any problem areas upon check in. Speak to the property manager right away to report any pre-existing damages. If there is a dispute about legal responsibility later, having a record of concerns and contact attempts will be valuable.
  • Be a good neighbor. Often times, surrounding homes are filled by permanent residents. Respecting noise limits and parking regulations can make a stay significantly more pleasurable.
  • Don't forget to... Ask a local resident! Residents can often help. Who better to ask where to order delicious takeout, have a great night on the town, or the best spots for fishing?
  • Double-check the rental property to confirm that you've packed everything on check-out day. Check garages, decks, and cabinets for hidden belongings. Clean the refrigerator and take or dispose of leftovers.
  • Record a video to document the condition of the property.
  • Did you have a great time? Most vacation rental websites make it easy for customers to provide reviews. If your property and/or property manager was terrific, they would love to hear it. If anything was out of order and they failed to address it reasonably, or if the vacation rental wasn't as described, you'll want to make a note as part of your feedback.
