Kids of all ages can discover how much fun life on the farm can be with this entertaining and educational event that is held at the Children’s Museum of Wilmington. During Family Farm Day, kids can meet and greet with local barnyard residents of all varieties, and enjoy plenty of activities that pay homage to the important roles that farms play in everyday life.

The big allure of Family Farm Day is the array of special guests that will be making a unique visit at the museum, and kids will have an opportunity to get up close and personal with some of their favorite animals from the farm. Chickens, bunnies, and many other four-legged friends will be at the museum for a visit, and in addition to the animals, the event also features a number of corresponding activities such as face painting, a special farm-themed story time, and milk and cookies.
