In between the showing of films, audiences will be entertained from local musicians and female comedians, who will be showcased throughout the day. Ticket prices can range from $8 to $20, and the location in the heart of downtown Wilmington makes the event an easy destination for visitors and locals throughout the Cape Fear area and beyond. Adding a new meaning to the term “chick flicks,” the second annual Chick Flicks Festival is a great way for film buffs to discover talented new artists, musicians, and comedians while celebrating the contributions of women in the entertainment realm and beyond.
